Y7 get their teeth into Walton on the Naze

Come rain, come shine Geography students enthusiastically tackle outdoor learning. The Y7 ventured to walton on the Naze to study the impacts of coastal erosion along the unmanaged section of the Naze and also the types of management strategy used to prevent erosion. Monday's group braved the cold and the wet yet still managed quite a haul of sharks teeths, fosslised wood and poo and the bivalves Glycimeris. The group on Tuesday focused on assessing the human geography of the coast and the role of Tourism on the local economy, i.e, the had an ice cream !

Now time for Y7 to show their ICT skills in presenting their findings as "Walton - The Movie".
