Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen !

As the leaders of the world unite in Denmark it might be useful
to consider the arguments for and against and to make up your
own mind on the issues of Climate Change (formerly known as Global Warming). Here are two that you might consider borrowing from the school library, or even your local library. Firstly, An Appeal to Reason: A cool look at global warming by Sir Nigel Lawson and secondly the Geographical Magazine's (produced by the Royal Geographical Society) Climate Change Supplement. For the Y12 and Y13 students do not forget the upcoming RGS lectures on the subject: Why we disagree about climate change, by Mike Hulme 8th December at the Clothworkers' Hall and Journey to the sinking lands by Dan Box 14th December at Kensington Gore
