Y12 assess urban change in Birmingham
An early start for all as the coach pulled out of KEGS for the Y12 field trip to North Wales. Rain was the order of the day until our arrival in Birmingham where the sun began to break through. Students first completed a land use map of Brindley place, part of the urban frame, before heading off along a transect into the CBD. Environmental quality was analysed, pedestrians counted building height recorded and land use mapped, and all before lunch !
