Redevelopment and rebranding of Birmingham City Centre


Year 12 students tackled the issues surrounding the redevelopment of England's second city. After an early start and a three hour journey the students arrived bright and enthusiastic to tackle the question of whether the recent redevelopment of the Bull Ring Centre and Brindley Place in Birmingham has been a success. Land use was mapped, data collected on the quality of the environment, pedestrians counted and shops sampled. The data has been used by groups to complete a poster presentation of their findings.
