Home for the next few days will be the imposing Georgian farm house, Preston Montford, run by the FSC. Located to the west of Shrewsbury we can easily access fieldwork sites for studies of the rural villages and also the town centre for flood and land use studies. A cheer went up when it was revealed that some of the students would be sleeping in the newly built and fully en-suite Darwin Centre!
